Hello, I am Anna-Kaisa. I help women feeling bogged down by stress avoid burnout, and get their clarity, vitality, and life back without excessive diet restrictions, or complex supplement regimes. I am on a mission to turn stress into an asset, and not something that wreaks havoc on your health.

I realized the importance of good nutrition as a young adult, when I was eating whatever, gaining weight and feeling off. I decided that enough is enough, and embarked on a journey to build a lifestyle that supports health, energy and vitality. Through this lifestyle change, I know what it takes to instill lasting habits, and through becoming a registered dietitian, I know what a healthy diet really means. 

As a clinical dietitian, I have worked with all age groups from preterm babies to the elderly, struggling with almost every possible diagnosis. Working in the hospital made me realize that while much can be done to improve wellbeing by managing illness, it’s much more effective to truly feel well by preventing illness from occurring in the first place, which a healthy lifestyle can achieve. 

After a time, and through repeated life challenges, it dawned on me that changing what I eat, or how much I exercise is not enough for true wellbeing. Becoming resilient to stress is equally, if not more, important as diet. And yoga practices provided the solution! I rely on them to instill in me calmness, steadiness, and clarity that are not easily attainable by other means. For this reason, in addition to being a nutrition expert, I also have trained as a yoga and meditation teacher and can now offer women something unique – a whole-body approach that builds stress resilience of the body, mind, and spirit. 75-90% of all healthcare visits are linked to stress, and I am on a mission to change all that.

Additionally, it is now a well-known fact that stress is a major offender for gut health, and for irritable bowel syndrome. For this reason, I have completed the Monash University IBS training and have been researching the topic extensively. This lead to the launch of IBSwise, in which I share essential knowledge and practical tools to benefit your gut health and symptoms.
