The whole-body method for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

If you have IBS or IBS-like gut issues, this course is for you! Jam-packed with valuable information and tools, it is designed to help people with gut issues live their best life.

What is IBSwise?

IBSwise is a detailed and thorough information hub for everything IBS, presented in a course format, but I won’t test you on the material. But not only information, IBSwise also provides lots of great tools to improve your lifestyle and diet to support gut health, and stress release methods for calming the gut-brain interaction that has become disordered in IBS.

It doesn’t matter if you have just been diagnosed, or if your diagnosis was years ago – you have been living with your symptoms long enough. This course will help dispel all confusion about what IBS is and what you can do about it. And what’s best, a complicated and restrictive diet is not at the forefront! I will provide you with all the relevant information about IBS, as well as lots of evidence-based tools for you to try right away, so that you can find out for yourself what those things are that make you feel better. It’s time to accept your gut issues, but it’s also time to take charge of them, so that you are no longer a slave to your gut symptoms. It is time to invest in your most important asset – yourself!

IBSwise was born from the realization that there is a lot of misconceptions about what irritable bowel syndrome is, and no true one-stop shop to find the right information. Not only that, what has especially been missing is a place where many of the therapies shown to ease IBS symptoms are available to be tried out. As a dietitian and a yoga practitioner, I have the unique opportunity to provide most of these for you in one place, here on IBSwise. Get onto the fast lane of understanding and easing your gut symptoms now.

Who is this course for?

  • People with an IBS diagnosis
  • People with IBS-like gut symptoms. Ideally, if you don’t have an official IBS diagnosis, you have been tested and no other gastrointestinal illness or problem has been found.
  • At minimum, you shouldn’t be experiencing from any red flags that haven’t been checked out: weight loss, very severe symptoms, vomiting, white/clay-colored/black stools, fatty stools, having to poop at nighttime, and having a family history of GI cancer, celiac disease or other severe GI disorder.
  • People with relatively mild, yet annoying symptoms, that don’t give a cause for concern for anything more dangerous, even if no tests have been done.
  • You can check with me if you are unsure.
  • Newly diagnosed with IBS
  • IBS diagnosis for years and nothing has helped

Who is this course not suitable for

  • If you have an eating disorder or disordered eating, this course may not be right for you (if you have fully healed from an eating disorder, check with me here to see if this course is a good fit for you).
  • The same applies if you have had any significant unintentional weight loss, as weight loss alone can cause gut symptoms. In such a case, it is important to speak with your doctor to find out what is causing you to lose weight without wanting to.
  • If you have a preexisting gastrointestinal disease, such as pancreatitis, liver disease or surgery of the intestines, the reason for your gut symptoms may likely stem from your condition, and the information on this website is probably not applicable to you.

If you are unsure of whether IBSwise is right for you, I have enabled previews on some of the lessons so that you can get a sneak peek into the content – they are marked with an open lock symbol in the lesson list below. A split payment is also possible (2 x $155), so if you are interested, get in touch and I’ll set it up for you.

Below is the short quiz you can take to find out whether IBSwise could be helpful to you. Any “correct” answers would mean that this content is for you. The first three questions deal with your symptoms and diagnosis, and ideally you should have a “correct answer at least on one of them.
